Judy is classically trained in painting and drawing. She is an art instructor at MATC. Judy enjoys sharing ideas with students and peers. Painting with watercolor has become a major focus in her life. My paintings like my life are constantly in a state of change. Nothing lasts or stays the same. I am fascinated by how time passes and change is always occurring. It seems that I can never catch up with the fleeting moments whirling by me before I even process what's going on. As an artist, I can hold on to a moment in time by capturing a lasting image on paper. Painting organic images during different stages of their life cycle comforts me by the fact that I have stopped them in time giving me a chance to contemplate where I am and where I'm going.
